Women Are Beautiful
From a young age women are inundated with images of “perfection”. These images keep telling us that we are “not good enough”. It is time that we reject this idea of perfection and recognize what beautiful is – beautiful is loving ourselves inside and out, eating nutritious foods, moving our bodies with physical activity, and supporting one another.
I have always wanted to make a positive impact on people’s lives. Before becoming a personal trainer, I was a Physical Therapist Assistant for 13 years. It was very inspiring to assist people to regain their independence and overcome great challenges, but the physical demands of the job resulted in chronic back and shoulder injuries. I learned to manage these injuries with a restorative exercise program. This has enabled me to continue an active lifestyle and prompted a career change to personal training.
I have been a personal trainer since 2013. “Prehab” to prevent “rehab” is my training style. It incorporates movement patterns that support and enhance everyday activities, strengthening and stretching of injury-prone areas, and emphasizing correct form.

View RatesCindy is wonderful. I’ve been taking her classes for over 4 years (live, prior to COVID) and she is a dedicated professional. She worked with me prior to and after my bilateral knee replacement surgery and I give her credit with how well and quickly I recovered. Her workout routines are structured and organized for maximum benefit. She cares about her clients physical abilities, stamina and attitude. She is aware of strengths and weaknesses and adapts accordingly. She is definitely worth working with and I highly recommend her.
Cindy is the real deal! Her background in physical therapy and years of experience in personal training shows in her innate ability to understand how to design a personalized program that is challenging, fun, and attainable. Her authentic kindness and caring is evident in her genuine motivational messages that are encouraging and supportive. Meeting up with Cindy for personal training is a highlight of my week, and keeps me on track for good health, fitness, fun, well-being, and self-care. I highly recommend Cindy! She is the greatest personal trainer of all time!
I first began working with Cindy two years ago when I was postpartum from my first child. Cindy is warm and encouraging and really focused on getting to know me and my needs. She has a holistic approach to her training, considering all aspects of a person’s health and wellness. She has a kind and gentle presence while also being motivating. When I took one of her group training classes with other women of different ages and abilities, she did a great job of giving us individual attention while attending to the group as a whole. I really love and appreciate her focus on women and she creates an environment that is inviting and empowering. Cindy always asks for feedback about what is going well during training and what I wanted to do differently and she is responsive to my needs. I will definitely continue to work with Cindy and I give her the strongest of recommendations.
Personalized attention. Cindy worked with my elderly mother to increase her fitness and strength. She gave her effective and manageable exercises while also taking time to get to know her as a person.
Cindy is a fantastic trainer. I’ve been sedentary during the pandemic. I made a great choice with Cindy. She has the experience and great attitude to support seniors, like me.
Cindy is an excellent and knowledgeable trainer. If you’re looking for someone to help you get your body moving in a calm and healthy manner, she’s the one. Her focus is on technique and form over speed and reps. She helps you with exercises that focus on all the core muscle groups, but also focuses on the supporting muscles that we don’t often think about. My balance and stability have greatly improved, which make exercising in general a lot easier.
